2019 Gala on top of New York

On June 25th 2019, IDLNY hosted a gala for the design community at the Manhattan Penthouse on Fifth Avenue. Following on the success of our galas over the past three years, this event celebrated the efforts of IDLNY’s representatives and volunteers who support the design profession through advocacy and legislation. It also served as a major fundraiser to bolster the coalition for another year of advocacy to elevate the interior design profession in New York State. The event was attended by local and national leaders from IDLNY’s coalition partners (ASID National, IIDA National, IIDA NY, ASID NY Metro, ASID NY Upstate and Canada East, and The Decorators Club).

This year we honored Sonya Dufner, FASID, a past board member and Fellow of ASID, long-time advocate of the Interior Design profession and our New York State Certified Interior Designers.
