IDLNY Winter Certification Series: NCIDQ Certification and Becoming a NYS CID
On February 5, 2019 IDLNY invited interior designers to the Allermuir Showroom in New York City for an informative session on pursuing NCIDQ Certification and becoming a Certified Interior Designer in New York State. The coalition connected attendees with CIDQ’s Data & Program Manager, Kimberly Woods, who guided attendees through the steps of the certification process. Following Kimberly, Dan Villella, Past President of IDLNY, presented the requirements and process of becoming a NYS CID. He also provided an overview of how other states have approached licencing with regards to the interior design profession. The evening closed with an informative Q&A.
